Buddhism in Israel
practice group (sangha)
A group open to newcomers led by Gal Brander, the group combines guided practice in Buddhist meditations (Vipassana and others), a sharing circle, and lectures on Buddhist principles and concepts, with an emphasis on their practical application in everyday life. The group is suitable for experienced practitioners and those with no previous experience.
My name is Gal Brander, I started my spiritual path in 2013 "at the center of soul and body" and since 2015 I have been studying and practicing the Buddhist path under the guidance of Avi Farr (my dear teacher).
Studies and practices Buddhism with a broad and integrative view that draws from traditions Theravada, Mahayana and Dzogchen.
In 2019, I decided to deepen my practice by providing spiritual guidance to people with serious illnesses as part of the "Journey Partners" association.
The main principle in the nature of my study and practice is the "integration" of the way into everyday life with the intention of improving the relationships in my life - with myself, family, relationships, friends, work, driving on the road, casual daily interactions - in the supermarket and in line for the post office, etc., and this with an understanding It is profound that we live in a mutual becoming and that all those relationships fill our lives and give a sense of meaning and fulfillment.

workshopUpside Up
Advanced inversion poses are challenging and require strength, concentration and technique. They are also fun, and the balance in them calms the mind and uplifts.
From headstand, through forearm stand to handstand, every inverted position calls for a lot of courage and patience.
Warming up muscles and joints for support, finding the right element, breathing in a position and entry and exit technique - all of these will help us find balance and confidence in a stable and relaxed stay.
In the workshop we will practice and discover the state of mind that allows focus, rooting and clarity in the poses and above all we will have a lot of fun and leave with tools to continue.

Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness practice seeks to free us from constricted and painful habits. The practice allows us to remember that a different life experience is possible - open, compassionate and more enabling. In the meetings we will ask to get to know the ways in which we are used to meeting reality and the challenges of life. And we will get used to a broader and freer encounter experience, which opens our hearts to the world.

Find Your IKIGAI - Ikigai is a Japanese concept meaning "a reason for being". Everyone, according to the Japanese, has an ikigai. Finding it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self. Such a search is regarded as being very important, since it is believed that discovery of one's ikigai brings satisfaction and meaning to life.
