An introductory workshop to mindfulness

with a Kentish palm

A sense of peace, balance and softness does not depend only on what is experienced but also on how I react to the experience.

Mindfulness is a simple tool for observation and self-learning, the use of which fosters the ability to deal with difficult emotions such as anger, depression, anxiety, low motivation or phenomena such as sleep problems and low functioning. Learning by observing allows you to identify mental tendencies and habits that produce suffering and discomfort, for example:

How does one disturbing thought turn into a night of tossing and turning in bed with worries?

How does an argument turn into a whole day of anger?

And what is the difference between a day when everything is stressful and a day of dealing with difficulties calmly and lightly?

Understanding and internalizing how stress is created allows you to develop more useful habits, and cultivate well-being, peace and lightness.  The mindfulness workshop is also intended for beginners and includes an introduction, practice and also the necessary skill regulation to start practicing independently.

In the workshop we will learn basic principles from the world of mindfulness through discourse, explanations and meditation practice.

The workshop is suitable for everyone, especially beginners.
